Works great but very hard to get started

Love the grill so far but it is super hard to get it lit and started. I’ve tried everything and thought maybe it was just me but so far everyone in the family has struggled. Other than that works great.

The griddle itself I love, unfortunately there was some minor damage in shipping luckily I was able to do the repairs myself but still unfortunate
