I wish I would have known that there was no hood and I wanted the natural gas converter.
Now I need to either return or buy parts for the model I have.

Does not come with cover or lid and impossible to buy one anywhere. After five times seasoning this thing in one year, with blackstone seasoning, it rusted out completely. If you want to be constantly frustrated buy this product, otherwise stay away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
