Haven’t cooked with it yet. Ordered the gas conversion and waiting on plumber to change wall fittings. I know I’m going to love cooking on this bad boy. During assembly, I was impressed at the quality of components.

Absolutely miserable assembly experience. I honestly don’t care how well this grill cooks at this point, the design and assembly process were that frustrating.
I’ve assembled 20+ pieces of large furniture for our new house, and somehow this grill was more difficult and aggravating than any of them. It shouldn’t be. The legs have virtually no support during the early stages of assembly, and while trying to install the heavy shelf that ultimately braces the legs apart, the entire assembly collapsed. A metal piece fell and actually cut my arm badly enough that I had to stop and deal with the wound.
And that’s just the beginning. The instructions are awful and unnecessarily confusing, and several screws are positioned where other parts of the grill obstruct your view and make them extremely difficult to install. The whole process feels like it was designed without enough consideration for the person who actually has to assemble it.
I’m sure there are ways Blackstone could redesign this to make assembly safer, easier, and far more intuitive. For a product at this price point, this was completely unacceptable. Based on the assembly experience alone, I would not recommend this grill to anyone who intends to build it themselves.
