Not good quality

I was incredibly disappointed that the Blackstone I had ordered as a Mother’s Day gift came with issues immediately starting with assembly. The holes on the legs that you have to line up with the shelf to place screws in, were not drilled correctly making it impossible to put together safely without having to redrill them ourselves. Then once we got it assembled, not only was the igniter bad, but the regulator as well. So I have a heavy piece of metal hanging out on my back deck unusable on Mother’s Day weekend. I will be sending back and ordering a traeger.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the griddle but....

When I turn the left burner on I get a flame shooting out from behind the flame adjustment nob with s plastic burning smell !!. The right side works fine, but I can only use half the griddle.
That's a real let down when you want to cook a larger dinner.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my husband. Best burgers we've ever made on a grill. Also made mouthwatering prime rib cheese steak sandwiches. What a difference this grill makes!

Not overly thrilled yet….

Had 2 spots on the griddle immediately as I started to season. Followed the exact steps on blackstone website. Minor but missing handle screw and plate for the hood. Not thrilled about the griddle having the 2 spots being brand new out of the box. Attached are photos

This is my first Blackstone and the 28" was the perfect size, we have made some great smash burgers already !!!! My son-in-law has the larger version which I think is just a little to big, he loves his as well !!

Damaged leg and wheel after moving it

Moving on a concrete flat surface one leg by the wheel split open under the units weight collapsing the wheel. Oil and debris spilled and the tank fell off. The whole unit would have tipped over if I had not caught it. This is definitely a design flaw. With wheels the unit is designed to be moved around. It is a heavy unit so need to be very strong around the wheel leg area.
