I was replacing the orifice for natural gas and the valve crumpled apart. Now I need a replacement and can only find 36in., I have a 28 in. griddle. We will see how this process goes.

Satisfactory. I would like to have a leveling mechanism in the legs. I'm not familiar with the typical standards when new for similar products, but I would love not having to season upon purchasing.
