Haven't actually used it yet, but definitely heard good things from friends. What I do know, super easy to put together, everything is sturdy so we'll made, and I like the overall esthetic. Looking forward to the first cook.
My 18 year old son put it together in under 30 mins (My Father’s Day gift). I’ve cooked fish, burgers, various veggies and corn on the cob! It’s all come out great (family says it’s the best salmon grilling I’ve ever done!). Still favor the grill over griddle for steak, sausage, pork or lamb chops and chicken. Next step is breakfast……eggs, pancakes, potatoes, bacon and scrapple!
Use this griddle often… I also have a weber griddle… Which heats a little more evenly than this griddle, but I prefer the hood on this griddle. It is heavy duty and really keeps the moisture out… The only other downfall is it takes a little bit to get all the burners lit other than that it cooks very well, and I enjoy it a lot
I got my Blackstone as a Fathers Gift, it was easy to assemble, the directions where easy to follow. I haven’t cooked on it yet but have heard great things.
Wish you could buy it with the natural gas option already completed. But found a good video to exchange the orifices, and it wasn’t too complicated, just time consuming. The set up of the rest of the griddle was simple. Got it seasoned and have used only a couple times so far.
