New griddle

My griddle came with a beat up box and dent in the lid. The accessories box came completely open. Thankfully everything is there. Haven't used the griddle yet but excited to do so

For the price you would think there would be a quality control check. I threw my box out and don’t have any way of getting the warranty replacement.

Worst Griddle

Bought mine less than a month ago. Seasoned it with Blackstones own seasoning and conditioning at least 4 times. Covered it with the hard cover and bough a soft cover. Opened it a week later and nearly entire plate is rusted. To add to it, mine was missing a knob when I bought it…
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Instruction confusion

The instructions need to be clearer on how to attach side shelves. I finally figured out the each shelf uses six bolts, not just four that instructions indicate.
