White stain

Brand new out of the wrappers the hood has white stains on the inside and outside and will not wipe off. I don't care about the inside but the outside is a bummer. I am disabled and cannot take it back so it's really a major bummer for me I could have purchased a cheaper brand but I didn't. Is there anyway to have some blacstone tools sent instead of asking for a replacement?
