Worried about rust

I love the grill but I recommend a cover a d reading the car instructions fully. Your grill will rust if you leave it dirty or wet! The rain got to mine while under the patio and the water got under the lid and I had no clue until I went to use. It was all rusted I had to do some series work to save it. Pre season your grill before use.
