The accompanying User Guide is very thorough in its instructions on teaching a person how to operate this Contact Griddler with Smoke-less Mode. I love the cooking chart in the User Guide that makes for precise grilling of steaks and hamburgers. I haven't had the opportunity to try out the griddle but plan on doing so. Cuisinart is a high quality brand I trust.

This is a very easy grill to use for steaks and hamburgers. In the smokeless mode, the grill is tipped so that fats and grease run into an easy to clean plastic tray. The grill plates go in the dishwasher. I have never grilled before, but now hamburgers are a breeze for me. Steaks can be grilled on one side at a time or both sides at once. Love it.

Product does what is advertised. Nice not to go outside in the cold. Easy to switch from griddle to grill. Smokeless .Large grease tray. Easy to clean. Setting temperature and meat a bit confusing but multiple uses will take care of that. Written step directions need more clarity. We still like it.
