A great product because of it's flat plate option

We use a flat plate product in New Zealand and with our move to the USA we wanted something similar. We are very impressed with this product. We use it to cook eggs, bacon, toasted sandwiches, our version of McMuffins, piklets, vegetable fritters. We have had one go at cooking steak on it but that will take a bit of fine tuning to get the temperate right. It is used every day. Very easy to clean and any fat drains away in the back to an easy to clean tray. Highly recommend it.

Your next grill/griddler!

The design is very nice and looks fancy, I like the blue screen. The grill/press is very sturdy, I like how the top can adapt itself depending on what type of food is underneath it, when you close it. You have so many options! You can use it open with both grill plates or open with one grill and one griddle or with both griddle plates and same when closed! The plates are very very easy to put on, take off and clean. I really like the scraping tool to clean the grills.
So far I am using it everyday! With grilling you can make your own indoor BBQ, panini press, pizzas heater, breakfast maker, etc.
It took me a little time to understand how to use the control panel with so many options but with the instructions book in 5 min it was a go! I like the recipes that they give at the end of the manual.
The smokeless grills are really working, first time for me that I made bacon without having smoke everywhere in the house. I love the drip tray, it collects fat and water from the meat.
I made a wonderful breakfast with a combination of grill and griddle plates. One side was cooking pancakes, eggs, and cheese while the other was cooking bacon! And the bacon wasn’t bathing in fat because of the drip tray.
You can adjust the temperature on both sides. The grill goes from 175F to 425F and the smoke less grill lets you choose between the type of meat you want to cook (fish, pork, beef, etc). You can even cook on one side and have the other one off.
I made panini's too, with veggie or meat versions. Loved that it made a crunchy bread without burning it.
For me, there are 2 down sides; The first one it that when you set the temperature on either side you cannot adjust it. You have to shut it down and restart it to do so. The other issue it that when you open both side the appareil makes a V shape (perfectly stable for sure) but if I was putting my egg to close to the edge it was going a little bit overboard.
You can also set a timer but when the timer is done the grill stops working/cooking. I like using it without the timer.
I really enjoy cooking with it. I had an old one and this one is far better and fancier. Love it, recommend it, look at the pictures!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so surprised how good of a product is it. I used to use regular griddle and i'm in love how much better griddler turned out to be. First i tried grilled sandwiches and they come out so good not dry just right and done so quick. Then i made smores with my daughter she loved it also. Porkchops were done in few minutes no smoke just some steam. Bacon cooks very nicely and crispy. Plates detach easy and are easy to wash nothing sticks to the surface no need scrubbing just gentle wipe. Grease tray is good size and easy to wash too. Menu is fairly easy to understand takes few tries but i wouldn't say its hard. Like the feature of putting different temperatures on top and bottom. The only thing that i noticed could work better is switch on right side that allow you to rotate the top, open it and use it as extended griddle. It seems to get stuck sometimes. Also when i tried to make eggs they slide down to grease pan probably could use some form and preheat trays but i relaly didnt have issue with it. Overall im very happy with this product.

Appreciate smoke-less feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always wanted a griller that does grilling job however without much work that is required for the grilling. This griller does the perfect grilling job that too without much effort, smoke-less feature when you want or regular grilling as you please. The griller is ready to kind of, does not need much assembly. I just washed the grilling plates with warm soapy water before my firat use. The operation takes some time to understand, hence advise to have a manual overview and available videos online so that you do not struggle like i did. The grill plates are non sticky, food does get burnt but removws easily with the scraper provided. I would scrape the plate after every round of grilling, does not take much time. The smoke-less feature is my favorite one which is perfect for an apartment dweller like me. I have used it for grlling veggies , cheeses and they came out perfect. I also made breakfast items like egg, pancake, french toast just like i make in a regular pan without any problem. Its prefect for my home needs and saves me using mutiple pans for the purpose. Its for now a permanent appliance on my kitchen counter.

I replaced a older and different brand of griddle and am so glad I chose this one. I have used it on everything I can think of using it for and have been well pleased. Works fast and easy and the cleanup is just as easy. Great for fish, keeps the smell down more than other methods. Quick and easy for pork chops, hamburgers, hot dogs, shrimp and steaks. I've cooked bacon on one side then hotcakes and eggs on the other. I love the ability to cook different items on the bottom portion of the grill and at the same time cook something else on the top at a different temp. I would recommend this grill for anyone that has used a different type grill in the past and want more.

The appliance itself is 5 stars. I’m usually pretty savvy about using new items after reviewing the instructions. I found the instructions unnecessarily complicated. I’m an experienced cook and am familiar with cooking times for various proteins, however I found the charts were clumsily arranged in the manual. While I liked the cooking temps are automatically set when selecting the food on the display panel, the cooking guides were in separate sections of the manual. I’m not trying to be petty, I’m just thinking someone new to cooking in general might find the instructions confusing.

Good idea but the steps just to get it was over complicated. 2 dials with temp would work better & faster. Since instructions were incomplete time was wasted on trial runs to get it running. Easy to clean. Pain to set up to heat.
