Having used the griddle once, we found it to cook fantastic pancakes. We used both sides, as we had family visiting. Initially, the controls were a little confusing, but that concern quickly subsided. The temperature control is fantastic! It actually works well. The pancakes came out perfectly. The plates being reversible saves space; the changeover is very simple. I highly recommend this grill/ griddle.

I am having problems setting the temperature the directions are not clear. I usually grill with both burners and can turn them on at 350degrees. After that I cannot make the temperature change. I really like the pads. On both sides they clean well and are non stick. `

I love Cuisinart products. I've only used the Grill once so far, it takes a bit of getting use to. My first batch of panckes was ok (the batter was perfect) just trying to figure out the temp and all the good stuff.
