Supposed to open up flat but doesn't quite, so pancakes creep around. Lever to open it up so it can lie "flat" is very sticky. Doesn't cook evenly on one half. Expensive. But other than that it's OK.

Cooks food great, however setting up programming it is a pain and directions are not well written or thorough. I haven’t used it much yet for that reason. Very frustrating!

I've only used it once so far, to make pancakes. It works much better than the griddle that I had. There is a little discrepancy in the heat of the two griddle plates, but I can work with it. Overall, I really like it and it will take the place of another countertop grill and a separate griddle, so it is freeing up some space for me. The only thing I don't love is that I do not find the controls to be intuitive. I will have to keep the instruction booklet handy until I get the hang of it, but I'm looking forward to using it more!

You have to have a license to operate the appliance .Don’t buy if you only want one thing e g toasted cheese sandwiches.We returned ours after NO use.Could not get the thing to even heat up and hold temp

Unit is smokeless while cooking; however, after foods are taken off the grill the hot plates smoke and smell up the house as the grease burns off. . There's no way to clean it while the plates are hot. . We decided to use our standard cooking practices and use the unit as a countertop decoration.
