Great Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace our Whirlpool when it quit. The old one was a great microwave, as this one is also. The best part, the install matched exactly all the holes and bracket to the old one. Highly recommend this microwave.

Terrible features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was identical to my last whirlpool microwave. After purchasing and having it installed I discovered the controls are terrible. For example in order to cook/heat anything you must hit time cook then the time then start. When done you must answer if you want an additional 30 seconds. All I wanted was to simply enter a cook time and start. And have the capability to turn off all noises.

Annoying feature

Needs more comprehensive instruction manual.

Nice appliance, good value for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am pleased with this microwave. It is roomy and heats food evenly in reasonable time. It has a sleek outward appearance that looks nice in my kitchen. It has everything you need in a microwave.
Two things that could use improvement: The light is located at the back of the microwave, so it doesn't really illuminate the whole cooking surface of the stove below. I think the light would be more functional if it was located in the front of the microwave. Not a huge issue.
Also, after the heating/cooking function ends, the digital readout chimes and says "Complete," shows 0:00 and says something about adding more time, which is fine. But, this messaging doesn't clear after opening the door, closing the door. You have to press the Stop/Cancel button to clear the messaging. I have left it flashing for a few minutes to see if it would eventually clear back to the clock, but it doesn't. Again, not a huge issue, but I would expect the readout to default to the clock once the heating cycle is completed.
