Great Microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the microwave! The fan is louder than our previous microwave but we've adjusted to it. The other adjustment is the black front shows fingerprints but it cleans easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave replaced a 12 year old Kitchenaid that stopped working. We liked that unit and hoped that the new one would work for us another 12 years. Sadly things have changed, we are unable to hear the tones even on high and the lighting (below and inside) is poor and it runs LOUD. The unit does work but we are sad, Kitchenaid appliances are all we have purchased in our home for 40 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good and bad

The bad is the touchpad is sometimes not very responsive as you have to tap an area several time before it responds. End of cooking time tone is so faint you can barely hear it even set on high. Inside light very dim as is the light that shines down on range top even set on high. Wish it had a handle instead of push button.

Poor light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchen Aid has lost my confidence in them. We have had several Kitchen Aid appliances but this falls short of their previous quality. The light that you turn on to see the stove is very dim and it does not seem to have the power that my previous Kitchen Aid microwave had.

Word fine but has minor design issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works fine Display is hard to read when you’re standing close Labels on controls are hard to read Interior light should stay on for a minute or so after cook time is complete

Looks nice! Tapping the control Panel difficult

No Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit has no sound. No beeps when cycle is complete or at end of timer. Reported problem and they replace board. No fix. This unit has not worked since install. It has been several weeks. No indication on how to fix or acknowledgement of a problem. I assume KitchenAid just to stick me with a defective unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
