Lousy signal tone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unlike our two previous Whirlpool microwaves, this one has a virtually inaudible signal tone. I have it set at the loudest level. The timer signal on my Whirlpool range has a nice audible signal. Yet I shouldn’t have to use it for microwave cooking. I am ready to return this one for a different brand that has a reasonably audible tone. Can the signal tone be replaced with a more audible one?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Faulty product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave came with the new home we bought at the end of Jan, 2025. It was faulty at the beginning. Sometimes it doesn't heat up the food. I am in contact with the builder KB Home and Whirlpool to ask for a replacement. But so far, my request has been denied. They only offered the repair under warranty. We bought a new microwave, not a repaired one. It didn't work properly on day one. We have the right to ask for a replacement or refund. But neither the builder nor Whirlpool seems to understand our point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Support From Whirlpool - Defective Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave (Model Number: WMMS3330RZ) was installed one week ago on February 14, 2025. I discovered that the timer does not make a sound when it finishes, nor is there a sound when the cook cycle is finished. I’ve gone through the Options/Settings menu MANY times, pressing 1 to turn on the sound and pressing 3 for high volume, but still no sound.
I reported the problem to Whirlpool, and I received the following response from them:
“Hi Richard,
Thank you for contacting Whirlpool. Our support team will follow up with you shortly.” It’s now a week later, and I have not heard anything from Whirlpool. Apparently their definition of ‘shortly’ is different from my definition.
If this problem is resolved, then I will upgrade my 1-star rating. In the meantime, my rating stays at 1-star.
In addition to this Whirlpool microwave, we also have a Whirlpool stove and a Whirlpool refrigerator. We were planning to buy a Whirlpool dishwasher, but because of this problem with a Whirlpool microwave and with the lack of support, we will rethink buying a Whirlpool dishwasher.
Hoping to hear from Whirlpool in the near future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still getting adjusted to this microwave. My main complaint is that the alarm ring is too soft. As well as the timer alarm. It's hard to hear. I have been carrying a second timer on me. The light really does not need 3 levels, high and low is sufficient.

Great Features

When we started looking for a new microwave we knew it had to be a Whirlpool since their products are dependable, well designed and affordable. I am extremely impressed with all the features and functionality.

Looks nice, unsure about cleaning inside *too new"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this this 1/11/25 and it was delivered and installed 1/18/25 (minus an instruction booklet an issue for me) It is not easy to operate esp without instructions. Not accustomed to having to having to push stop when I remove the reheated/cooked item Terrible time trying to set the sound on the timer(still too low) and it does not let you know when it is done unless you are right in front of it.
Where is the promised rebate?
