[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave could have more bells and whistle, but it has what we need. We bought this because all of our other appliances are Whirlpool and we have had them a long time. We expect longevity. Our last microwave was not a Whirlpool and it only lasted a year and three months. We expect more from Whirlpool because that is what we have received in the past.

Needs repair out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase this on 1/29/2026 had it installed and the setting for the time, power and time to cook does not work. Had a tech out to fit it and he indicated the touch panel needs replacing. Waiting on parts to repair microwave..

Please see the following for some troubleshooting tips DOOR or OPEN/CLOSE DOOR in Display: If a message about the door appears in the display, the door has been closed for 5 minutes or more without the microwave oven being started. This occurs to avoid unintended starting of the microwave oven. Open and close the door, then start the cycle. Is the door fully closed? Remove all packing material from the Microwave. Be sure no packing material is blocking the door lock system. Close the door firmly. Check that the cooking rack (if equipped) is not out of position and not allowing the door to close. Nice looking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microwave is very nice looking and works great. The door is noisy to close and the light is too far back. It doesn’t shine on the front of my stove. It’s a less expensive model so I can’t be too picky.
