The only thing that I have problems with is, you cannot set the timer for something you're doing in your kitchen and microwaving something at the same time

Whirlpool not what it was!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does heat food or liquid nearly as fast as my other microwaves It is all black which looks nice but can't read at night controls to push.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wise choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit was purchased to replace our previous Whirlpool microwave. The choice was easy as we have been totally satisfied with the Whirlpool brand for more than forty years. The stainless steel finishes on the appliances are very easy to maintain and remain sparkling over the years. Our new microwave has the same features we valued before, and even offers us other time saving and convenient choices.

Decent Microwave for the cost. Nothing special.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this microwave about a month ago and use it 3-4 times a day. It was a replacement for a similar GE unit that had just turned 5 years old. It was tripping a breaker for no visible reason so immediate replacement was needed. The Whirlpool replacement was easy to install in the same space with it's different wall bracket. Had to drill a few new holes in the wall and 2 new holes in my upper cabinet to install. After turning the vent motor, duct placement was the same as the GE. Overall, the quality of the Whirlpool microwave is thinner, cheaper, and has a lower overall quality feel than the GE. The door closes with a cheap sounding "clink" and the fan is much louder with a high pitched whine the GE did not have. I do like the much smaller glass plate in the Whirlpool that fits easily in the kitchen sink to clean. Overall, it is just a cheaper, version of the GE. It heats food exactly the same and I expect it to last 3-5 years just like the last 3 units I have had in this space. All newer appliances are basically disposable every 3-5 years.
