First Whirlpool Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased as a replacement for a unit that lasted 20 years. I hope this one lasts as long. Slowly learning all the commands. Not as intuitive as I expected but am learning. I do like the interior color. White stains too easily. The glass tray is smaller than previous model but works ok.

Key pad software inefficient, too many keystrokes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The interior and exterior lights are not as bright as they should be. I also believe they are incandescent, should be LED. The software for regular operation takes more keystrokes than other microwaves, e.g., when you open the door and then close it after removing food, you still have to cancel the operation. Overall, I hope it lasts; the Frigidaire I bought 6 months ago failed (magnetron started making strange noises). So we will put up with the Whirlpool software inefficiencies.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t like that you can’t use the microwave if you also have the timer operating! Horrible design feature. The door slams loudly and the beeping is also very loud. Not impressed

Brand New Microware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace a nearly 20 year old Jenn Aire microwave over the counter unit and purchased a Whirlpool unit. It is much lighter and was easier to install because of that. However, two things in particular I am not so thrilled about. First the turntable cannot be stopped from rotation and second the visibility thru the front door is too dark. Other than that, it works great and I like the 1,2,3 feature of instant minutes when pressed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
