I am using these around medium to large windows to add to the light from my permanent lights. The included screws are not the best for the clips but they do work into soft cedar wood. So far the BT works very well with the Govee app. They are a bit different light vs the permanent lights but I am looking to create a different show so to speak with these. I wish the power adapter was rated for outside but I have it in a weatherproof outside box under some shelter so I hope that will work long term. I really do love the Govee products and I need to slow down a bit as my wife thinks we are an amusement park!

Installed 5 sets in my deck railing. 1 set doesn't work from fall to spring. Another set has colors that don't work and now need to replace since 3/4 of the set doesn't work at all. Other 3 sets have been great. So ultimately 60% of sets I bought have worked well. Not the best average
