This light strip never turned on... not even once. They asked for a video (somewhat ridiculous as there is nothing to see) I sent said video. They replied "the lights are not on, please send a video of the issue". I do not commend Govee at all.

Lasted a year and a half, then water got into one of the strips and it stopped working. Product only lasts a little longer than the One Year Warranty.

Several problems with these outdoor lights. They do not hold up to the sun. They start to peel apart the rubber from the light and then once water gets in they're garbage. The controller is not waterproof it's water resistant so a big storm it will burn it up by water getting inside. Also you have to put electrical putty around the connectors the connect the lights to each other. Because the connectors will leak. Really these have a poor design for outdoors.

My LEDs look amazing, however to sum up my experience the only thing I can conclude is that Govee manipulates it’s customers into purchasing with a low price and purposely withholds parts, instructions and solutions for challenges that EVERY DIY installer will face so that you will eventually throw your hands up and pay for install. My conclusion is Gove is the least of all evils but if you buy plan on sourcing your own supplies including: connectors and wires for spanning gaps, extra glue (glue does not stick to soffit), pre drill pilot holes for mounting clips, better screws for mounting etc…

Only problem is the sticky tape on back.

The H6175 comes with a wall wart power supply instead of a corded power supply. This doesn't fit into an in-use outdoor plug cover which is a problem for an outdoor product.
