The ice maker is a poor design!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The in the door ice maker continually makes blocks of ice out the cubes in the ice container in the door. Not a good design! On almost a daily routine, I must break up the ice cubes that have begun melting and then freezing into a block of ice cubes!
The prep and store bins seem gimmicky and something I see no real need for having.

40 Years but Now Doubtful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement item that took nearly 2 months for delivery. The original stopped making ice, did not freeze ice cream, and maintained refrigerator temperature at or above 60F.
The replacement item: 3 days after installation, the left door inside flap became stubborn, not retracting fully and hitting the right side door, preventing the door from closing. Lifelong customer of Whirlpool brand but I am having serious doubts about our future affiliation.

More space than anticipated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife is in love with our new refrigerator. Our last one was similar but didn’t include the middle drawer and it is a game changer. Additionally, the ice maker being in the door has dramatically increased the usable space in the fridge. The only downside is getting used to the single dispenser water and ice dispenser.
I would recommend this to a friend!
