Great functional refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this refrigerator design (for it's practicability, functionality, ease of use, and looks). It's our second one of the same model. Our first one purchased 6 years ago went south (Compressor went; we hope it was just a bad one vs a general problem). Since we loved the refrigerator so much, we decided to stick with it for a replacement, even waiting for 2.5-3 weeks for delivery. The replacement refrigerator is now with us 2 weeks and we hope this one lasts longer - hoping for 10-12 years. If not...we will move on to another make/model or mfg. But sticking with it speaks to how much we love is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed

I love everything about this fridge except the noise it makes. Known (to Whirlpool, not me) issue in manufacturing causes fan to freeze. Sounds like an airplane winding up for takeoff. No fix except periodically unplugging it and letting it thaw. Getting tired of doing this every six months. Wish I could afford to replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
