Bought an ENVY a number of years ago. Have been very satisfied with it. Decided to get a new version with newer technology, solid state drive, newer processor, etc.. every thing works well, and certainly much quieter with the solid state memory. Only issue was with my monitor not showing edges of display. Have a workaround.
I was impressed HP got my spec built PC to me much earlier than quoted. Se it up, registered it, started loading a few programs and so far it has been flawless. Since 2000 (give or take) I have always bought ONLY HP PCs. I prefer the Pavilion series and am not a gamer. I have no criticisms at all. Just keep doing the Lord's work.
Love the computer. Performance is excellent. The only thing that keeps it from being a 5 is the CD/DVD drive. The up and down loading is not fun, it seems flimsy and I think I am going to break it every time I use it. It is also difficult to keep closed. It wants to keep popping open.
I bought this computer expecting a longer boot up but it boots up in just 10 or 15 seconds . Love windows 10 as I had that OS earlier .Just an all around great computer.great response for all programs. Will probably put in more Ram but right now do not need that upgrade not a gamer.
I should have upgraded from a small HP laptop long ago, but I couldn't tell that it was the computer, not the Internet, that was unable to handle background music at the same time I worked on other websites.
I bought this item a few weeks ago. The system works well, but the design of the computer is not attractive. The power button is recessed making it somewhat difficult to turn on. Otherwise, I don't have any complaints about the operating system.
