The transition from a laptop to a desktop computer has been a challenging experience. It is one that I knew would present a challenge. However, it was a change that I really felt was necessary to support my increased usage of my computer. There were many changes as I made this transition that I did not consider. You never think about all the devices like speakers, cameras and other accessories that you take for granted after many years of using a laptop.
Easy transition to this new HP tower. I would recommend this HP equipment to my friends.

I found the transition from my 14-year-old HP tower running Windows 10 to this new HP tower running Windows 11 very easy. I purchased an app which helped tremendously in copying/converting all of my files. The new tower is very fast. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with it.
Having a lot of network wifi drops. Also, drops articles opened for reading arbitrarily. Didn't have either issue with Win10 HP ENVY. Could be happier.
My teenager needed a new computer for school work. He wanted to have a computer for gaming. I have tried other companies (both laptops and desktops) and have always enjoyed my HP computers more than the others. The computer came sooner than expected and was very easy to set up. There was none of the usual "free" apps or updates that were needed for previous purchased computers. Within a couple of minutes, he was already gaming. This Envy satisfied both of our needs.

Probably a decent product, but doesn’t compare to the HP Pavillion I’ve owned for 11 years. No front lights other than Power, so can’t tell if internal storage is being accessed (like during image backup). Advertises internal PCIe expansion ports, but no way to find out what’s available on my unit. No tech info available on any of the individual front or back USB ports, or identified on the ports. Other than ads, there seems to be no tech info available for this unit on any of the HP web sites.
