I just received the first shipment of the Inst Ink, so haven't needed to use it yet. Right now, the printer is pulling extra sheets when it prints, a lot of jamming. That will mess up the paper sheet count. I don't know what is causing the jamming or when it pulls two or three sheets when only one is needed. It needs to be fixed!

Not convinced that I really needed a new printer

I'm not convinced that the printer I was told to give up on is really broken. I may have just been a bad printer cartridge. As an environmentalist, it is difficult for me to throw this printer away so for now I will just continue to use it and color given that the black and white cartridge that I had received through instant didnt work.
