Set up for wireless printing was difficult between the Smart Printer and my internet. I was finally able to manually connect. Print quality is acceptable and the color for pictures was very good. The control is difficult to operate with a person with large fingers. Thank goodness that the panel tilts to allow easier reading for a lower cabinet installation. The screen needs to be larger to allow better readability and operation. It is barely acceptable but I will make it work The output tray is not acceptable. The right hand release button has fallen out 4 times and is not easy to reinstall. I have elected to leave it out and that is working ok, but poor quality here. After I changed paper size for photos, I changed the smart printer on my computer to the new 5x7 size. The printer notified me that I had a paper mismatch. I then adjusted the size on the control panel and tried to reprint. It again notified me that I had a paper mismatch. I pressed the print button on the control and it overcame the notification. This is not right! Overall, I do not recommend this printer. I have had HP printers for 30 years and this is the poorest one of them all.
It was easy to set up, but every time we went to use it. I had to push the paper forward cause if said it was out of paper. Eventually, nothing worked, the power button wouldn't turn on or off and the quality when it did work wasn't good. I am an HP fan so I was super disappointed on this printer. I hope it was just a lemon of one
Printer is excellent. Finding the correct driver has been a sturggle

Cannot control print lightness, darkness or do printhead maintenance of any kind. That feature has been completely removed from all menus and in printer properties! Printing really wets the paper with ink and prints, especially colored prints are over inked. Intant ink calculates a whole page for just an extra line of text. Printer tray is flimsy. You have to open the printer to get the PIN for any kinf of information through HP Smart. the printer egisters a cartige change every time you open it for the PIN. HP Smart is anything but Smart. It's dumb and insulting to someone who wants the option of having even minimal control over print quality and maintenance. Calling it an All in One is a strech. Buyer beware. Website acount, my devices doesnt work properly. Even if I were interested in a better printer, I'm not anymore.
I bought this model due to its USB connectivity. However, the USB slot was covered. When I removed the covering, I discovered that the USB connectivity has been disabled. I was so disappointed.
