The printer is very nice, but the setup was an absolute nightmare! Not every body understands 'geek speak' and having to deal with that, plus all the online setups, ink ordereing, etc. was not pleasant. Once I finally got it set up, it's been a good printer.
Unhappy with this item. I loved my last HP all in one printer. A workhorse. This uses too much ink, even smeared some when trying to copy an old B&W comic book page. Then informed me I was running out. And I have not done much at all. I have printed nothing in color. Everything seems to be driving more ink sales. And only from HP.
The setup is horrible - I have a compatible HP Omen laptop and you would think it would be plug and play. The HP Smart app on my laptop cannot connect to my printer. I followed the start-up instructions, tried both WiFi and USB cable, I have a patchwork way of printing and scanning without using the HP Smart app on my laptop which worked with a previous HP printer.

Worst Printer Ever

I have been ordering printers and computers from HP since 2016 and have always had great success, but this is the absolute worst printer ever. It takes FOREVER to print, there are always issues each time I print (resetting, ink not printing correctly, etc). Most of the time I have to restart it and have reinstalled it several times and maintain all the updates, etc.
