This keypad and battery is just plain junk!!!!!!!!

The battery in my new unit is now useless. It is one month old and lasts about 4 days. The small set screw will eventually be stripped out from removing and replacing every few days. DO NOT BUY THIS!!! Chamberlain show be ashamed for producing such poor performing battery. The older style keypad that runs on a 9 volt battery lasts forever and there are never any problems. This is just a terrible battery. Every unit should come with 2 or 3 batteries and the batteries should last like 6 months instead of 6 days or less. Chamberlain battery=JUNK
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear that the battery is not living up to your expectations, and we would love to suggest adjusting the sensitivity meter to the lowest setting so your battery can last you longer. This will fix your issue. If you are looking to ditch the battery altogether, you now have the option to install a power adapter (MYQ-KH1VXXW). Didn't have easy access to power for my Garage door opener/camera so purchased the battery as back-up for my Garage unit. Easy to keep the battery charged and easy to switch-out when needed.
Back up battery is awesome! Charge well and holds a charge. So happy to be able to just swap out for a charged battery rather than wait for the other to charge.
Pros: battery backup
I would recommend this to a friend!

A must, but should have been included in my initial purchase. New combo now includes a second battery for roughly the same price I paid for the my camera with a single battery.

This battery works great! I was able to store a ton of these little electrical electrons inside the case. And I’ve been finding out that the little buggers stay in the case for a long time too. The shape and color of the battery are very stylish and should match any decor very well.
