Could use a few improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I think this is a nice, lower priced camera that does a decent job of a live feed security device. Some things I liked about it: the video is really clear, the size and shape are nice and the motion detection is pretty accurate. The things I didn't like as much: the app to set it up was pretty easy to use for installation but navigating around after is not very intuitive. For example, I didn't capitalize the name of the camera when installing it and I wanted to go back and fix it but it wouldn't save the new name. I ended up deleting the camera and starting over. I also would prefer it to be wireless. There aren't many places I can put this camera for security use (or the garage, the porch, etc) without it being inconveniently located to a plug and then having the wire just dangling there. Also you have to pay for the subscription to save files which is pretty standard but not something I'm interested in doing and if I were I'd probably go with a bigger company that I know more about Overall this camera is good if you need an easy baby monitor or for keeping an eye on pets but I'm not sure it's the best choice for a home security system.

A need for home privacy

Good camera!

Great indoor camera!

I use it to check up on my pup while we are out and I love it! I love that we can check in on him via our phones to make sure he’s safe and not tearing things apart! 10/10 for video quality features and privacy.

Amazing camera

The video quality is impressive, providing clear and crisp view. I like that it proved a coverage of a large area in my living room. Night vision works well, ensuring I can see everything clearly even in low light. Motion detection with customizable alerts means I get notifications only when something important happens.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MyQ smart indoor camera was easy to set up, easy to use and their app was also easy. I was surprised by how good the quality was and that it wasn’t grainy. The only downside which is not about this camera itself but the fact that I always have a different brand of cameras in my house and I don’t love having to use multiple apps.

Bright light
