Great Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first ventless dryer. After doing some research the first couple of dryer reviews left me wondering. They always say that close still come out damp. Happy to say, their dryer gets it done. One or two adjustments on the front and it will get your clothes dry. Now I can put the dryer in my preferred location without cutting out a hole to the outside of the house. I have used the SmartThings app for other devices but I have to say that the dryer hooks up to the Wi-Fi seamlessly and the smart things app has plenty of functionality including but not limited to letting me know when the dryer is done on my phone. It also has a reversible door which I have not tested yet but seems like it would come in handy depending on where I relocated in the basement. It does have options for everything you would normally dry. The sense dry seems to work well with towels as well. Had a bunch of towels dried no issues. Hopefully this dryer lasts a long time without any issues. Seems durable.

Great dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer really gets the job done. Easy to use I like that it is Ventless and I don't have to worry about cleaning out vents. The 360 Air Flow even makes my towels softer. I like the automatic dry sensor. The smart things app lets me know when the clothes are dry, with a quick reminder to my phone. Have I mentioned my wife hates wrinkled clothes. The reversible dryer door was a great plus as our connections are backwards and we can now use the door correctly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that caught my eye in the literature about this dryer, was that it employed heat-pump technology for energy efficiency, AND it is vent-free, meaning no longer will I be paying today's high utility rates to heat air and then promptly blow that air out the dryer vent hoping to make the birds more comfortable! Together up to 50% can be saved on energy costs alone! Beyond these stellar features, the dryer itself is well thought out and full of features. For those addicted to their phones, it is a smart product, so one can schedule or change what is happening to the load remotely from a smart device. For me, it seems far more likely for me to use when I forget to add something to the menu and recall my failing when away from home, (the old did I forget to turn off the oven thing!) There's a self-dry cycle which is for drying the dryer drum itself to make sure it remains fresh smelling forever. Use Sensor Dry to have the sensor determine optimum dryness for your load to prevent over-drying which just wastes money and can damage clothes! There are a number of load specific settings, like Active-wear, Towels, Bedding, Heavy Duty, Permanent Press, Delicates, Normal and Sanitize which is nice to have in the Covid era. I like haven been given the option of setting the dryness level of the load for 4 different levels allowing for the pulling of certain articles that require hanging or lying flat to maximize their appearance. There's an audible damp alert which sounds when the desired setting is reached allowing for those articles to be pulled and if appropriate to the load, setting the balance of the load for continued drying. One can also mute the audible alarms if someone is napping. And the wrinkle prevent and air fluff features allow for a proper finish, or a refresh to your clothes when needed The drum light can be engaged manually and will not burn out prematurely as it turns itself off after 2 minutes. For safety and efficiency there is a Lint Filter indicator that tells you when it needs cleaning. The only thing this machine doesn't do is load the clothes and fold them when they're done. Two thumbs up for me!

Very Slick Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer is plenty big, and very quiet. I really like the ventless design, so I can get rid of the dirty and leaky hole in my wall of laundry room where the vent came out. Always having to make sure it's clean, and it let in cold air during the winter. Now I can plug it up and prevent any outside air from infiltrating. The app is amazing, and synced right up without a problem with Samsung SmartThings which I use for several other appliances/sound bars/TVs. It's a bit strange needing to empty the water tank, which is how it's ventless. Heat pumps are much more efficient than traditional heating elements, so I will be saving money on electricity. It does take longer to dry than my old dryer, but it's still sufficient for our needs. Size slotted right into the old spot. I have never been disappointed in Samsung quality and innovation with technology. Very happy to have this appliance in my home.

Love the ventless option!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to get this dryer because we were looking for something more energy efficient plus wanted the ability to close out the vent outside, this does both. I love the large capacity and it definitely does well with large loads. I have had no issue of loads of laundry not being dry after the cycle is over. The settings are self explanatory and easy to differentiate between them. The cleaning and water emptying is easy , though a new thing to get used to. I also really enjoy how this connects to the smartthings app, We have two other appliances connected so I enjoy that this can be added seamlessly. So far very happy with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few days ago I received my Samsung 7.5 cu ft Large Capacity Ventless Hybrid Pump Dryer with Wi-Fi. I really liked it because it is modern and the best in technology since with its hybrid heat pump it helps you save electricity as it recycles hot air reducing heat loss, it also has a series of load configurations such as: towels, bedding, sportswear, etc. Something that caught my attention is that it does not have the annoying ventilation system, this makes it look much better and I do not have to worry about the space in the back of the dryer, it only has a small hose that you just have to connect to the drain of the washing machine and that's it, plus its smartThings application makes your life easier and more practical from the comfort of your home, you can change or reschedule the way your clothes dry. I was a little worried about the steam that this dryer would emit, thinking that over time it would smell bad or breed bacteria or something like that, but it turns out that it has a self-drying cycle that serves to dry the dryer drum which will help keep the dryer always dry. sometimes I use sensor dry, it helps me dry my clothes well without exceeding the electrical energy helping to save money, it has a large capacity and is very spacious inside, it also emits a sound that helps you know if your clothes are dry, this sound system can also be silenced if the noise bothers you, this dryer is very complete since it always keeps you informed of everything that happens with it, it also tells you when its filter is dirty, something very important that you should keep in mind is that the door can be changed in position for better comfort so you can open the door in the direction you like, I am very happy to have this dryer in my home, it took a while to arrive but it was worth it.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t be happier with my new Samsung ventless dryer. There are so many exciting features. It does not have a vent and uses heat pump technology to gently dry your clothes without over drying using a 360 air flow. This technology will save me up to 50 percent energy. I use the Smart things app for all my kitchen appliances and adding my new dryer is perfect for making my home a smart home. The smart things app will let you know when your clothes are dry. I can also start, stop or delay the cycle, all from my phone. I love the “filter notification” on the panel and that the filter is a double filter and decreases dust. I appreciate that the door is reversible since my home installation was built backwards with the dryer first and then the washer. No more jockeying clothes around doors and dropping them on the floor. Plus, I can see my clothes with the lighted drum. In addition , since by dryer does not have a vent, I look forward to having less dust in my home and not needing to check the vent for clogs. I’m very pleased with my new dryer.

Advanced and easy to use dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this dryer for the last month in conjunction with a new Samsung washer. It is far superior to the old dryer my family of 4 used. With two pre teen children and two new puppies we use the dryer every single day. It does an excellent job of drying large loads of towels and bedsheets. I really like the way it can measure humidity inside the drum and adjust drying time. The Smart Things app is really helpful as well. The interface is intuitive and my children have no trouble using it as well. The lint trap captures 3 to 5 times more lint then my old dryer. It is quiet and reliable. It does not seem to have a high heat option to rapidly dry small loads, but that is minor compared to all the positives. I am very happy with this dryer.
