I have cheaper laminate floors that are prone to warping. This machine is fantastic! Be sure to follow all directions and take care of it. If you do, no streaks, no residue. My floors have never been cleaner! I go back over wet areas without dispersing solution to dry faster and ensure no streaks are visible. If you have excessive pet hair, either vacuum with a regular vac first or just make sure you keep the machine clean. Sometimes the dirty water can get a little gross but not a big deal.

I have used the Crosswave to sweep and clean hardwood floors, tile floors, vinyl flooring, rugs and carpet. The transition was flawless and the results amazing. A job that normally takes two of us several hours only took me 1.5 hours by myself.

Like many other low star ratings: it's loud. It sucks up rugs, but is too gentle scrubbing on hard surfaces. It also stinks HORRIBLE if you don't clean after every use and the waste bin is so oddly shaped it's hard to get clean. My biggest complaint is the squeegee on the bottom. You can only really effectively clean during the pushing of the machine (if you pull the squeegee just dozes the mess into a pile). The how to videos don't call this out. I actually removed the squeegee on mine, but still hate the noise, smell and lack of scrubbing. I was also upset to find it didn't come with the cleaning station despite showing it in the how to video. I tried to love this thing but wish I would have sent it back before my return window expired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have a bunch of animals and quick clean up Johnny on the spot! Not sure how long filter lasts or how expensive to replace, but device clean up and put away is also quick and easy! I put the filter in a shelf to air dry when done. The machine has a cleaning tray. When your done, just put a 1/2 cup water on tray, set device on tray, hold the handle so roller turns and run the clean water through it. Dump the dirty tank, give it a rinse and if you still got cleaner in it shes ready to go next puppy accident or child mess whatever your needs this device is ready! It should be about 159. Instead of 250.
Pros: Don't leave area soaked, Light-Weight
