I recommend a crosswave to anyone with a textured hard floor!! I have a textured linoleum in my kitchen and bathrooms and I can swiffer it THREE TIMES & the pads are still dirty at the end of round 3. The crosswave not only makes my textured floors look clean, but actually feel clean! I also use the crosswave on a wool area rug, freshens and almost re-fluffs the rug, but I do use a full size vacuum over the rug before running the crosswave.
Pros: Deep clean on textured floors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical as I weeded through reviews. We have a large bissell carpet machine that's taken out rarely and when my husband is up for the task to shampoo carpets. I needed something for the everyday and for me. I'm typically a shark customer but very skeptical after some new cordless products have come out and have not lived up to my standard. Well I tried this on a Black Friday sale and I'm in love! I have a free range rabbit, two dogs, and two cats and three kids! I have regular carpet, Berber carpet, lots of area rugs on top of carpet and as well as hardwood with area rugs. This can switch to either surface at a click of a button all in one cleaning. It's corded.. so I don't need to beat the clock or recharge to clean another area. No pads I need to rebuy. It cut my cleaning time in half. My house smells fresh and amazingly clean. I can clean my area rugs without throwing them in the washer or worried they are unsanitary. I had no issue with setup or taking apart parts I didn't even look at the manual! All easy and self explanatory. I have arthritis, neuropathy and carpal tunnel. No wrist strength and can't lift anything heavy. This was an ease to use clean and put back together. I love how it self cleans. Other major brands you can't do that and it drives me nuts to see all the hair and sort built up in the crevices of the sides where the brush is! It amazes me the amount of hair it stood up to! The reservoir really showed how it tackled all the filth! This all in all is the best purchase I've ever made and a leap of faith! Bissell you've got a crosswave customer for life and I'll scream it to the rooftops! You've hit it out of the park for a chore I usually have to all the time is now a breeze and something I look forward to! Just get it!! You'll be just as amazed and for a great value! I'd love to see in the future a small machine like this crosswave that has an attachment for furniture and stairs! And saving pets in the meantime for your purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my crosswave to clean up after my 1 and 3 year old. I've never used anything that works as well as this does. I replaced my Hoover floormate and shark navigator with this one lightweight tool that cleans better than those two combined! I had no idea how dirty my area rugs were until i used the crosswave on them and saw what came up.

I purchased so it can make things easier for myself when I vacuum and mop, this machine was a waste of my hard earned money. I wish I would of returned after 1st time using it. To much to clean after just one use. I would not recommend at all.

Cons: Alot of time going over one spot to get clean, Leaves black dirt behind, Leaves dirty streaks, does not clean hard wood, To many parts to clean after use, To much time to clean small area

Does not work as a vacuum or a mop

I use this only on hardwood and thin area rugs, as instructed. When I vacuum with the Crosswave I need to go over the same area multiple times to get an acceptable amount of dirt and dust off the floor. But I don't seem to be able to get all of it. I tried moping and vacuuming up loose dirt at once, which I thought this was designed for. It just moved the dirt around into wet grey streaks. If I use the mop function after vacuuming or sweeping, the same thing happens. You're better off with a regular vacuum and mop separately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It worked amazingly...while it worked. After five months of use, the motor that runs the brush stopped working. I contacted Bissell and they advised me to take it to an authorized dealer...in the middle of the coronavirus quarantine. I have used Bissell products for many years and have never had one issue with any of them, now that I REALLY need to be sanitizing my floors (I have a little one crawling around) I can't...very disappointed in the customer support at Bissell.
Pros: Good for Deep Cleaning, Good for Light Cleaning
Cons: Not Durable, brush motor doesn't last
