I ran my vacuum and swept before using and the water and debris I cleaned out of the cross wave when I was done was unreal! It's so awesome I've been using it everyday and looking for things to clean!! Hahahaha

Not working properly after a year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum started out great, but coming up on a year I have more issues than anything else. From the start I have had issues with the brush window. it is so DIFFICULT to remove, and you have to do it every time properly to clean and care for it. I literally have to sit on the ground and yank it. It took 30 minutes to get off today and I hurt my hand every time doing it. It constantly gets clogged with the smallest amount of pet hair. I think this is due to it not sucking well and making an odd noise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this little machine has exceeded my expectations! We've been using a microfiber mop system (like a reusable swiffer) but it has so many limitations. I wanted something with some power. We have 2 little boys and a house full of pets (cats, dogs, rabbits, and then some) so our floors really take a beating, especially in the summer when we are in and out all day long. The crosswave pulled up *so* much dirt, even off of the newly installed LVP. It's easy to use and a breeze to clean. I was a little worried it would be a pain to clean like our old Bissell carpet cleaner (which was impossible to get completely clean, ugh). But the crosswave was well-designed and I'm pleased. My only minor complaint is the noise. The first time I used it to clean all of our floors, I wore noise-canceling headphones because it's LOUD. But... It's an acceptable trade-off for price and function for me. The real test now will be to see if it holds up. That's my only concern with household equipment, and the brand rarely seems to make a difference. Fingers crossed it lasts at least 5 years!
