[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wooden floors get dirty fast between the dog and my fiance going in and out all day long. I use to dread the thought of vacuuming then mopping my floors because it would take a good portion of 1 of my 2 days off. The CrossWave All-in-one has made cleaning my floors a lot quicker and does a much better job. I loved mine so much I bought one for my sister.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have vinyl flooring. This does not work for my needs and instead of making cleaning easier, it's just more hassle. I have a difficult cleaning need and this doesn't even cut it. My dog licks the floor, leaving saliva that when wet causes a slipping hazard. I've had to get down and scrub with a magic eraser to get the floor clean. I tried my old floor mate but the brushes only work where they make contact with the floor. Thought that the brush roll on this had better coverage. It works in theory, just not on my floors. It leaves a grimy mess with tracks from the front rubber lip of the machine. It takes several slow passes to get light dirt up. The drying feature works okay, just it's overshadowed by how poor the brush works. It is a waste of time and not convenient. I'm going back to the mop and the magic eraser.

Sorry to hear this. If you're trying to clean heavy dirt, hair or debris from your floors, try using the area rug setting as it releases more water and formula on the brush when you squeeze the trigger. If your CrossWave isn't working properly, please give us a call at 1-800-237-7691 so we can help!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the Bissell Crosswave for a month now. I have a German Shepherd and 95% of my home is hard wood flooring with area rugs. I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing. The pros, the Crosswave does a really great job of cleaning and vacuuming my hardwood floors. No streaking, dries really quickly, and great suction. I love how I'm able to do my floor and mats all in one. I own an 8x10 Ruggable area rug and unfortunately the Crosswave won't move across it ( the Crosswave's suction lifts the rug). Not a big deal because the Ruggable is machine washable. I'm always shocked at how dirty the water is after I use the Crosswave. The cons of the Crosswave, does not come close to edges and baseboards ( my biggest gripe). Difficult to do my hardwood stairs. Process to cleaning the machine after each use. Overall a great wet dry vac and worth the money. It really does do a nice job on my floors. #sweepstakes

My entire first floor is hardwood and laminate and I'm just fed up chasing dust bunnies and trying to keep mop water clean. This machine has cut my cleaning time in half. The floors are spotless all the time. I actually enjoy using it, and I don't enjoy housework. The fact that I can run it over my area rugs is a huge bonus. They still need to be vacuumed because we live near the beach and sand is an issue, but getting them fresh is awesome with the Bissell. I have zero domp, aints and one piece of advice. Don't let the dirty water chamber fill past the line or it begins to leak out. That's why there's a line. The self cleaning feature really requires more than one swish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it as a mop on the kitchen linoleum-tile floor. It does a better job mopping than I ever did, and it takes about 15 minutes less time. I vacuum and mop all at once. It picks up so much dirt each time I use it. My kitchen floor is much cleaner now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely horrible product. Does not remove minor spots from rugs. Smells horrible like old water even after cleaning. Does not suck anything off the floor up it just pushes it around. Very dissatisfied.

Hi Janelle - the CrossWave isn't a deep cleaner for carpet, so it's not meant to remove spots and stains. It's designed to vacuum and wash sealed hard floors and rugs simultaneously, eliminating the need to sweep then mop. It's important to clean your brush and filter thoroughly with warm water and mild detergent and allow it to air dry completely. This should be done after every use to prevent bacteria causing odor. Hope this helps!
