I use this on my carpet , throw rugs and bare floors. Had a little streaking on the hard floors until I got them clean. Went over them 3 times. Now it works perfectly. Here is the best tip I can give you... watch the videos they help a lot!

Very pleased with how easy it is to operate and to clean. Previously owned the Hoover floormate and the swivel action of the Bissell Crosswave is much easier to use. It's ability to vacuum as well as mop makes clean up faster and easier.

I was hesitant about buying it because it is a bit expensive, but it works great! It gets dirt up that you didn't even know was there! Cuts cleaning time in less than half.
