Motor for Roller Died

We have 4 dogs and 2 cats, so I usually vacuum before using this, just to avoid hair clogs, and i clean it throughly after ever use. However, this product was a gift and I raved and raved to all my family and friends about it. Until last night when mid-kitchen, the roller stopped moving. There were no obstructions. I turned it off and back on. Unplugged it, plugged it back in. I tried everything I could find online. Nothing. Best I can tell, the motor responsible for turning the spinner, died. I loved this product, but now I'm just incredibly disappointed.
Pros: Easy to use, Works great
Cons: Had less than a year and the roller stopped
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad I ordered the cross wave wet and dry unit. USED IT AND JUST LOVE IT. GOING TO DO MY BEST FRIEND FLOORS FOR HER, TOLD HER SHE WILL BE SO PLEASED WITH HER FLOORS. You have to use one to believe the job it does.

It was leaking dirty water and I'm not sure why. I cleaned everything very well the first time and put it all back together properly. I used the trouble shooting suggestions on the website and am hoping that next time it'll be resolved.
