[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only disappointment is the lack of a hose to get into tight places. I'd be happy if the hose only had suction, then I would feel like it did a more thorough job, and it could also be used on furniture.
Pros: Easy to use, Lightweight, Quick cleanup, Would Recommend
Cons: Carpet, High Traffic Areas, Multi-Surface
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unfortunately No Match for my Ceramic Tile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to love this so much, and I waited a long time to purchase something like it, and unfortunately I'm not all too impressed. While it cleans the basic smears off the ceramic tile in our kitchen, it's absolutely no match for the gunk that gets stuck on the floor day in and day out between 4 kids and two pets. I have a junk credit card I keep on hand to scrape things off the floor while I'm cleaning with the CrossWave because otherwise it won't pick stuck-on substances up. I've let it sit with the spin brush directly over spots for over a minute, gently "scrubbing" it back and forth, and it's made no difference. So unfortunately, the CrossWave isn't meeting my cleaning needs in the one area I really needed it. It would be good for other types of floors and I've used it on our hard woods as well without issue. It's not a terrible machine; it just can't come close to cleaning the way I need it to. It's also worth noting that cleaning the tank is pretty disgusting and there's no great place to do it. Everything you vacuum up goes into the same tank as the water, so if you suck up a non-food item, you either have to pick it out of the dirty water and then dispose of the rest in a drain, or jeopardize your drains. It gets especially gross when there's hair in the tank as well.
Pros: Easy to use, Quick cleanup
Cons: Hardwood Floors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If zero stars was an option, I would select it. I was very excited to get this wet dry vac and use it. To my disappointment, it was an expensive waste of money. This item does not work well at all. I do not usually submit reviews, but I feel others need to know what I have experienced before buying this item. The chamber that collects dirt and water does not seat well at all and it can be very difficult to get it back on properly. It does not suction water well at all as it shows in the videos and commercials. The filter clogs very fast even when the floors have very little dirt on them. When the filter is clogged the vac will not suction at all and just blows dirt all over. Please think twice about buying this product. I wish I could return it.

More trouble than it's worth...

The Crosswave may be good for small areas, but as far as larger floors and rugs - it's not so great. The crosswave does not suck up the same amount of water it dispenses. It leaves streaks on the floor. I end up having to use a Swiffer to reclean and dry the floor. The Swiffer pad is dirty even after using the crosswave. Suction is not good on carpets.. Clean up is disgusting.. Having completely clean tanks, rollers, filters and touch dirty & wet parts every single time is time consuming and more work than it's worth! It also runs very loud and sounds like it's going to break everytime the handle is pulled back. I really wanted to love my Crosssave...I just wish I kept the box so I could return it. Thumbs down, Bissell.

Thanks for your feedback, JJ. It sounds like the brush area is getting clogged while you're cleaning your floors. If you notice this occuring, pause your cleaning and hold down the spray trigger to help clean out the foot area. If needed, empty the dirty water tank and run a quick clean out cycle. Please call us anytime if we can help with your machine at 1-800-237-7691.

Don't buy it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this floor cleaner about 4 months ago and it worked OK the first few times. Then all of a sudden, the motor that turns the brush spits and sputters. Then just quit...very disappointed Bissell. Since it was shot, I took it apart and found that the brush motor was eating away at the housing unit. There was even plastic shavings in the dang motor unit. Waste of money and now going to a landfill.
Pros: did a decent job when it worked
Cons: over priced and not a good buy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a wet jet and not a vacuum... Not worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great concept but a failure at both being a wet jet and a vacuum. First, it didn't come with any accessories, it is only meant to clean floors. No attachments for stairs, couches, drapes etc. The only time a light comes on is when the trigger is pulled for the wet jet so you can't see going under furniture, which is difficult anyways because this vacuum doesn't lay flat. The wet jets don't spray evenly so there are constantly lines on the floor. The rollers stay wet so dirt and grime cling to them and when you go onto your rugs the dirt and dust transfer into the rugs. Just gross. For those with cats, litter touches the wet rollers and turn to wet clay and clog the system. The vacuum portion isn't really strong enough to suction litter out of tile grout. Just leaves it there wet. I had cut my hair and tried to vacuum up the little pieces left behind but the vacuum failed. It suctioned up some and then I'd move the vacuum forward and they'd all fall out. Emptying the dirt container is made more difficult because of the wetness. Dirt, dust, hair, fur, litter is now all wet and glued together and didn't empty when tilted over a garbage can. Plus the container itself has so many grooves and pieces for stuff to stuck to. Really, really gross. It's not a wet jet and not a vacuum. Needs work
Pros: No mop bucket
Cons: Couldn't vacuum long hair, Doesn't lie flat, Hard to clean out dirty compartment, Hard to push on rugs, Jets don't evenly spray, Litter got wet and clogged vacuum, No accessories, No light on vacuum, No tools for couches, or up high
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
