This is my second DUO and they have fixed every short coming in my first. The pot has a no drip spout, and it brews very fast!
I would recommend this to a friend!

All in all, this is a good product. It makes great tasting coffee. The main reason for not giving it five stars is, coming from using a competitor's coffee maker for years, the quality of the UI/UX design of this product is slightly lower than what I was used to. It's not downright terrible or anything, just slightly less intuitive and requires a few more steps to accomplish the similar tasks. That being said, I'm still glad to have made the switch.

Its a bit complex to work around. EX: if you want to brew over "ICE" the machine wont allow you to choose "strong" and the OZ needed It only does 6oz at a time per k-cup and its normal temp. Another thing is the temperature, I wish that it could be manageable to be hotter for hot coffee, i feel I need to put my coffee into the microwave for a better temp,

I purchased the coffee maker after my Gen 1 decided to go flakey on me, by not dispensing the same number of ounces I selected. Instead of 12 cups in the carafe I would get any amount other than 12. same with cups. The Gen 2 is so much better. I like the instant response rather than waiting for it to heat the water, before dispensing. I now get consistent amounts of beverages. At this point in time I am very happy with my purchase. That being said, I am disappointed that the coffee maker didn't come with a water filter, no was any mention of one in the literature. Also, when I want to switch from coffee to hot water for tea, I have to do a 6 ounce flush to clear any left over coffee grounds in the head. I feel the pro's far outweigh the con's in this case. If it were not for the con's, this machine would have received a 5 star raiting.
