It's brews very fast. I love that I can choose a hotter brew or stronger brew of coffee. I purchased it to replace my older Kuerig. I would recommend it.

I purchased the coffee maker after my Gen 1 decided to go flakey on me, by not dispensing the same number of ounces I selected. Instead of 12 cups in the carafe I would get any amount other than 12. same with cups.
The Gen 2 is so much better. I like the instant response rather than waiting for it to heat the water, before dispensing. I now get consistent amounts of beverages. At this point in time I am very happy with my purchase.
That being said, I am disappointed that the coffee maker didn't come with a water filter, no was any mention of one in the literature. Also, when I want to switch from coffee to hot water for tea, I have to do a 6 ounce flush to clear any left over coffee grounds in the head.
I feel the pro's far outweigh the con's in this case. If it were not for the con's, this machine would have received a 5 star raiting.

Works great and is nice and quiet. Only downside I’m noticing is when I’m making tea. For some reason, not every time, there will be grounds in the bottom of my cup. I’ve tried rinsing it out, making sure it’s clean, but it keeps happening.

I buy coffee makers for my wife first thing I find out I had go buy the filter from a store! These machines use always come with the filter. Next issue was don’t think your going put your to go cup ( yeti) etc larger size ones I think they made for Keurig to sell cups . Don’t get me wrong it can take a fair size but not designed for those 8-12 hour hot cups that hold 3 pods ! The Kraft side works great! Buttons easy to use! I don’t drink coffee and I was able make her coffee first time without asking very simple. If the filter came with it like old days it would had for fire cotton extra star half but when you buy coffee maker you want it ready to go nit have buy parts!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All operations worked perfectly! A single cup of perfect coffee is delivered in 45 seconds! I can then switch to the carafe and enjoy a nice, fresh cup of coffee while I wait for a full pot to brew. Very happy with this product!
