I was amazed that the 5-pin technology on the single pod side made so much difference. When I bought this brewer I still had my old K-Elite and I brewed 2 cups side by side. The taste was absolutely better from this one!
Typically, I brew a pot on weekend mornings or when company comes over. I use the single pods for the weekdays. It works wonderfully well.
Highly recommend for those who have different coffee needs at different times -- or for those who like to experiment with different ground coffee blends.

Nice coffee pot. Easy setup and easy to use. Brews coffee fast. I wish the markers in the water tank were marked better so it is easier to read and I wish the Xtra hot and strong buttons work for the carafe too

I really like the ability to brew single serve and a carafe for myself and others. It is a great feature to have the heated plate for the carafe stay warm for up to two hours on its own. It would be nice to have an option to turn on the heated plate again. Looking forward to using the iced coffee option. I do recommend ordering a reusable filter for the coffee grounds, but for the cost, it would be great if it came with one.
