Improvements from Gen1, too to bottom starting with a much improved pour with the new carafe. The control panel has larger and easier to use buttons and the brewing is faster and a little warmer. Overall size is about 10% smaller. The cold brew is a neat feature that we tried with Acai K-cups. A worthwhile upgrade if your previous machine is wearing out like our Gen1 was (hot plate stopped working).
The unit is exactly what we expected - simple & works well, looks nice on the countertop, easy to figure out. There is no water filter included if you’d expect it to be - we use our Culligan filtered water anyway. Hoping this unit lasts awhile. We previously had one of the single K cup brewers & it stopped working after about 7 months.

If you are an all day coffee drinker this is NOT the right coffee maker for you or me. It only keeps coffee in the Cafe for 2 hours and you CAN NOT turn the warmer back on without it making another pot. Very POOR DESIGN FOR ALL DAY COFFEE DRINKERS I would not recommend purchasing this K-Duo
Love it. We've had it for about 4 days and we have tried all of the options and everything works better than we expected! The iced coffee option is amazing, not watered down at all.

Bought for my son and his wife for Xmas- they wanted a single brewer not also the option to use the bags of grounds they received! They love it, lots of little options available on the single brew too- xtra hot, stronger - sizes!
