We use our KDuo both ways and are happy with the product. My only gripe is when we use the carafe the bottom of the coffee holder is partially full of water when we remove the holder. I soak it up with paper towel and dry it out. Am I doing something wrong???

I’m a longtime purchaser of various Keurig models, but I wanted to get rid of my separate carafe coffeemaker. The K-Duo Gen 2 has everything I need in a simpler format for a quick, individualized cup or a carafe. It’s very easy for each user to quickly select the brew size, strength and temperature for a cup or to make a pot. Every single cup brew cycle is very fast, and the extra hot setting is much improved over my K Elite model and very hot. The design is attractive, and the unit is compact and barely larger than my prior K Elite.
Love the Duo, Gen 2! The option to make a pot or a cup is fantastic. This is quieter and quicker than my old one that finally wore out.

Love having options

Bought this to replace my Keurig cafe. We make pots of tea in the carafe. My son has become an iced coffee and tea barista. Souch nicer to have the option to make a full pot or just a cup for me

The K-cup side is great but I do have a few minor knit picks on the coffee pot side. First, the warming plate only stays on for 2 hours and no way to customize it. I know you can turn it off and back on by holding in the button but I often forget and then end up with a lukewarm cup of coffee. My other complaint is that you have to cycle through the settings every time you set the timer. It does keep the time but you have to acknowledge it and the cup size every time you set it. I am used to my old brewer where you could just turn it to auto and press brew. I will say this brewer is nice and compact for being dual function. If it lasts as long as the one it replaced I will be happy.
