I purchased the coffee maker after my Gen 1 decided to go flakey on me, by not dispensing the same number of ounces I selected. Instead of 12 cups in the carafe I would get any amount other than 12. same with cups.
The Gen 2 is so much better. I like the instant response rather than waiting for it to heat the water, before dispensing. I now get consistent amounts of beverages. At this point in time I am very happy with my purchase.
That being said, I am disappointed that the coffee maker didn't come with a water filter, no was any mention of one in the literature. Also, when I want to switch from coffee to hot water for tea, I have to do a 6 ounce flush to clear any left over coffee grounds in the head.
I feel the pro's far outweigh the con's in this case. If it were not for the con's, this machine would have received a 5 star raiting.

I have been waiting for Keriug to come out with a dual coffee maker that has the, hot/ ice feature on it for a long time, and was so excited when i saw this K-DUO on their web site. I ABOUSALTLEY love this coffee maker, it is nice looking, takes up less space than my K-Elite , easy to program and makes great tasting coffee, I make a green ice tea when I get home from work every night and it is so good.It brews up a nice tasting
kraft of groud coffee in a very short tine. I especially like the extra hot freature on it. Keriug sent me a coupan for 50 % Off for 5 k pods just for registering.If u want a nice dual coffee maker I would recommend this one.if

I receive my coffee maker about a week ago. I like the ice coffee feature and the x-hot button cause I like my cup of coffee very hot. As far as price goes I do think it is a bit over priced.i would of waited till they came down in price but my previous coffee maker broke and I didn’t want to buy one now and buy another one later. And the 2 features the x-hot button and the ice coffee button sold me.
