Newest brewer probably not worth the hype

Been a Keurig owner since I can remember. I like to have iced coffee everyday. So when I saw Keurig come out with this K-Brew Chill version I thought I would check it out. Well, while it brews coffee as 'chilled' it's merely just water that is slightly cooler than room temperature. I've tried adding ice while it's brewing and I guess it's better than running hot water over ice and causing dilution like I had been doing with the old Keurig. At this point, one complaint would be that the 'chilling' function runs way too much when its not brewing. That going to translate to a much high power consumption. I probably should of just stuck with the old one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Coffee tastes…weird?

I purchased this for the cold feature. Every single cup I have made tastes off. There is almost a chemical “bite” to each sip, which is super disappointing. I’ve tried pods from several different companies and have the same issue with all of them. This is with using filtered water as well. It is bordering on “undrinkable”.

Love it! This replaced a 14-year-old keurig 2.0. Coffee tastes great, it doesn't take excessively long to brew on "strong" brew setting like some of the early multi stream models. And the iced coffee is great. Really enjoy brewing a cold cup here and there. This is definitely the machine to have, if you like to make cold coffee on occasion.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not cold water but rather room temp water. The blue lights keep on flashing for a whole week. No cold water whatsoever. Waste of money. I do not recommend.
