I love these bottles so much that I bought 4 of them and recommended them to a coworker. Now the ring on the lid is broken leaving the bottle useless. Debating if I buy a replacement or just go back to my sport bottles.
I love this bottle but the lid broke the third time I used it. The concept of the lid ring is great, and I love the built in ring on the bottom, but it is pretty unusable with a broken ring - too hard to easily carry and it has nipped my finger a couple times since it broke. Too expensive to have the ring break so easily and quickly.
I’m a repeat customer and absolutely LOVE these bottles, but I’ve broken the lid on one — making my purple 17 oz completely unusable — and I’ve broken the ring on the black replacement lid — which was unattractive. Still, the other 3 that we have are fantastic!
I received my mug as a Christmas present 3 years ago and absolutelly looooved it. Especially the color - rose pink. Unfortunately, I left it somewhere in one of my travels. I am eager to buy a replacement, but oh my God, what happened to the color choice?! Can't wait till new nice colors will appear.
I LOVE these bottles, however I hate the lids. They break very easily (warranty doesn't apply) and Takeya only sell replacements in black or white. The bottle looks awful with a mismatch lid. Trying to decide if I buy a third replacement or that's it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are so sorry this happened to you. We are sending you a new lid.
The bottle could use one of the rubber bottoms that other Takeya water bottles have because it slips out of your hand a little bit when you're lifting it to drink. My lid broke after 3 months with moderate use (3-4 times per week every other week). It tipped over and the hard plastic part cracked in half and fell off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So sorry you had a problem with the lid. There is a built-in bumper on the bottom of the bottle. Let us know if yours doesn't have one. Our customer service team will be sending you a new lid.
