I used to think that a different brand of a similar water bottle was the best. It was until (despite regular hand washing) the mouthpiece started to mold and wouldn't scrub clean. I was getting sore throats from it. I looked to see if the manufacturer had a replacement top. They didn't. I was bummed. I found this one on accident and it was all the store had that was somewhat comparable. I needed one for a road trip I was going on. So, we bought it and it went across the country and back.
Smartest purchase, ever! This one is better hands down! I can replace the silicone or the top if I ever needed to. After a year of almost constant use and abuse, it looks and functions like it's new. It's far more sanitary, because I remove the silicone part in the cap, place it and the cap and bottle in the dishwasher on a sanitizer setting. Comes out clean, germ free. No more sore throat with a moldy rubbery mouthpiece. The rubbery bottom means I don't need a coaster when I set it on a side table. Keeps my water cold. I take it EVERYWHERE!!
Please, please never discontinue making this product. It's the best water bottle I've ever had. It's amazing!
(For those of you who want to keep your water cold for longer periods...put the bottle in the freezer overnight before you fill it with ice and your drink).

I use my bottle mostly for drinking water. I have so many favorite things about this Takeya bottle…..the sleek elegant look, impeccable and practical flip top design, the SOUND the water makes when coming out the spout is so satisfying to hear and makes others turn around to want to take a sip as well, it seriously makes others want to drink water. I have 4 because I love the colors so much… 2 big ones and 2 smaller ones..Bigger ones are for the gym because I drink a lot of water when I do cardio(controlled water spout system also makes drinking water while exercising perfect/ no spilling or too much water coming out). Easy to pop open, drink n close, easy to carry around. Smaller ones(the white one and the onyx) are for my purse and car, it’s so elegant and I get my water intake goal in effortlessly. Bought my first one 2 yrs ago and I’ve been buying more to add on. I LOVE these bottles❤️

Fits in car cup holder. Jeep drinks cold for a long time. Easy to open and leak proof when closed. The only negative comment is the plastic ring/handle is thin and weak. I’ve had one break just from normal use. Otherwise an excellent beverage container for on the go.
