It does everything they say it does! It’s great! I just wish 3 (very little) things were different, here are some notes for Takeya:
1) Make future generations have an 18 ounce capacity.
I make my coffee with 2.6 tbsp of Grounds 8oz of water, 3 tbsp of creamer, 3 tsp of sugar, and I like to make 2 of them to make the brewing effort worth it (standard drip machine). It overflows if I try to put the lid on it by a matter of 1 oz. I have been cutting back on the water by 1 oz to make it work, but it throws the final result off in flavor a bit (first world problem, I know).

2) Bumper
Please make a bumper for the Traveler. Yes I could throw an 18 oz originals bumper on it but it does not fit properly as the bottom of the traveler is not as rounded. Even though the bottom has its own bumper, the side of the Traveler will still hit things and clank when I carry multiple things on one hand (like my 40oz T-originals with its own bumper).
Please make a bumper for the Traveler. Yes I could throw an 18 oz originals bumper on it but it does not fit properly as the bottom of the traveler is not as rounded. 3) Get rid of the ridge inside (below the receiving threads for the lid).
I have never been able to completely finish my drink (I have tried!) even though I shake it towards the end. When I wash it the next day there is still a sip in there that would’ve come in handy the day before.

Hot drinks are still freaking hot after 6 hours

These are amazing. I use these for my hot teas. I usually have to cool them down a bit before I pour into my travel bottle otherwise it will remain boiling hot for HOURS. No complaints. I’ve put boiling hot water in these in the morning, and left it overnight. The next day it’s still warm, not hot, just a little warmer than tepid. Amazing.
