I received one as a present, and didn’t realize what i’d been missing. I’ve been trying to switch to re-usable water bottles and there are a million brands out there, so i didn’t really think there was much difference. but i love this bottle— it’s amazing how much difference a button activated fliptop makes.
I would have thought that was gimmicky, but it is great. No screw-off or manual pop-up top to lose, drop or hassle with— it is one-handed operation. The “drink hole” is right sized, with a second aerator hole for flow, so not just a gaping hole that liquid spills out of… great for hot drinks/sipping (or wine??). And the carrying handle is super convenient, just pop it down and it is gone. The coating on the outside is very thin and grippy (in a good way) — doesn’t sweat, and liquid stays hot or cold for a very long time. Getting this bottle made me look at more expensive ones, thinking maybe there was something even better out there, but I’m just not seeing any improvement on this design. i looked at the 1 star reviews and saw that most had dropped the bottle and the top broke — and im thinking, seriously? You dropped it and are complaining because it broke? i’m very particular and research things before I buy, so assuming this holds up, it makes me think of an Apple product with the well-thought-out design, and I’ll likely get at least another one. I’d previously thought that expensive water bottles were a little silly, until this one

Clever design, poor quality

I love the idea of this bottle. I liked that it fit in my refrigerator's water dispenser and I really liked that the lid could be locked and leakproof during my commute, but left unlocked during the day for quick and convenient use. I work with young children, so I don’t have the seconds to spare to screw a lid off and on, but I also didn't want an exposed straw someone could sneeze on. This fit the bill perfectly.
HOWEVER, the lid broke today, the second day I used this water bottle. It immediately broke with a short drop onto laminate floor. Its small pieces went flying off— hopefully I got them all and a child doesn’t find one and put it in their mouth.
I was prepared to tout this as the perfect water bottle, but unfortunately I have been disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Style is great but unfortunately, it doesn’t retain hot drink for the indicated 12 hrs.. at max only 4 hrs for boiling hot beverages before being Luke warm... otherwise, it’s gd for cold beverages.
