I've dropped it twice it can take a beating. I'm a bit clumsy at work and have dropped other travel mugs. They had really noticeable dents. This on the other hand barely has a dent. Even the outside coat held up well.

I love the “spout” style lid. I actually use it for cold drinks. Somehow I think drinking out of it is easier and more “dignified” then other lids. I teach classes and need something that won’t spill, make weird noises, or look foolish as I have to drink in front of the group all day. I have other Takeya bottles, as well as other brands, and I think I like this lid the best. I would like to see it on larger bottles too. I also love the rose gold color. It is very attractive and I would definitely recommend it.
